Mrs Melina Hastings - Parent Governor
Melina has a daughter who previously attended the College Town schools and a son who is currently in the Junior School. She is employed part time as a Property Manager and has lived in and around the local area all of her life. Having seen the fantastic efforts made within the school to assist her son, alongside the education provided to her daughter, she wants to assist wherever possible to expand on the existing quality of learning within the school. Hence her reason for wanting to becaome a Parent Governor and chosing to sit on CSPW. Melina is a member of the Curriculum, Standards & Pupil Welfare committee. She is the Maths Governor. She also sits on the Hearings and Appeals Panels if required. Her term of office ends on the 1st March 2020.
Mrs Jill Ward - Headteacher
As the Headteacher, Jill has exercised her right to be a Governor. She is a member of the Curriculum, Standards & Pupil Welfare committee and the Environment, Staffing & Finance committee. She remains in office while she is in post.
Mr Paul Widdowson - Co-opted Governor
Paul has been a resident of Sandhurst for over 27 years, and lived in College Town for more than 25 years. Paul was a member of Sandhurst Town Council and Vice Chairman of the Leisure Committee. Paul spent nearly 30 years in food retailing at various levels for a major supermarket chain. Over the past 13 years he has set up & operated his own Event Management & Theming company supplying various types of entertainment for all types of parties and weddings. So he brings a wealth of financial, marketing & local government experience to the Governing body. Paul is a member of the Environment, Staffing & Finance committee. He is the Child Protection Governor and the Development Governor. He also sits on the Hearings and Appeals Panels if required. His term of office ends on 23rd November 2018.
Mrs Julie Palmer – Co-opted Governor
Julie is the Academy Welfare Officer at RMA Sandhurst. As Welfare Officer she is perfectly situated to support College Town Junior school with the constant flux of military children in and out of the area, she has an excellent understanding of both the special requirements that service families may require due to their semi nomadic lifestyle as well as the wonderful array of cultures that our Foreign and Commonwealth soldiers bring to the school. She is a career MOD civil servant, is married to Ed who left the Army last April after 24 years service and has a daughter Megan, a Labrador and a Kenyan rescue cat living at home in Farnborough. Julie is the Chair of the Curriculum, Standards & Pupil Welfare committee. She is the SEN, Pupil Premium & Inclusion Governor and sits on the Performance Management and Pay panels. She also sits on the Hearings and Appeals Panels if required. Her term of office ends on 23rd November 2018.
Mrs Angela Allard - Co-opted Governor
Angela has been a Sandhurst resident for 16 years and a College Town resident since 2004. She is a qualified management accountant with over 20 years experience in commercial Finance roles with the AA, SCJohnson, Virgin Media and Unigate Dairies. Angela is currently employed by the University of Surrey as a Business Finance Manager. She has a CG7407 in Adult Education and has taught Bookkeeping & Accounting for Farnborough College of Technology. Angela has also been a representative on both the College Town and Pipers Field resident's associations. She has joined the College Town Junior Governors to offer her skills and experience towards the effective governance of the school. Her term of office ends on 12th July 2020.

Mrs Sarah Holman – Parent Governor
Sarah Holman has been a parent governor for over 10 years both in College Town Infants & College Town Juniors. She has been Chair of the Curriculum, Standards & Pupil Welfare and Environment, Staffing & Finance committees during that time. She is a mother of 2 children both of whom have attended College Town Junior School and is proud to have played a part in the Junior School's development. Sarah is an experienced HR professional and currently works at Bracknell Forest Council in Children, Young People and Learning (CYPL). Sarah was a member of the Curriculum, Standards & Pupil Welfare committee. She sat on the Performance Management and Pay panels. She also sat on the Hearings and Appeals Panels if required. Her term of office ended on May 25th 2016.
Mr David Mustoe –Co-opted Governor
David has just rejoined the governing body after a six month break. He was previously a governor for eight years. He was vice chair of govenors for four years and served on the Environment committee. He works for a local heating company as a heating engineer. He has lived in Sandhurst for over 30 years and his main interests are his family, music and Reading Football Club. David was a member of the Environment, Staffing & Finance committee. He was the Health & Safety Governor. He also sat on the Hearings and Appeals Panels if required. His term of office ended on May 25th 2016.
Mrs Eunice Feeney - Acting Chair - Vice Chair - Co-opted Governor
Eunice is a local resident who has lived in the area for over twenty years. She joined the Governing Body as she is interested in helping the local community. Eunice is the Chair of the Environment, Staffing & Finance committee. She sits on the Performance Management and Pay panels. She also sits on the Hearings and Appeals Panels if required. Her term of office ends on November 23rd 2018.
Mrs Jeannie Satchell – LA Governor
Jeannie has lived in the area since 1990 and has worked in Adult Education and Training for 30 years. She is currently working for Bracknell Forest Borough Council as a Project and Partnerships Manager for Community Learning and the Children's Centres. Jeannie has joined the Governing Body as she has a keen interest in the educational and personal development of Children and feels that her experience of working in organisations and schools will enable her to make a contribution to College Town Junior School Governing Body. She also sits on the Hearings and Appeals Panels if required. Her of office ends on November 17th 2019.
Mrs Krystle Hewitson - Staff Governor
Krystle is a teacher in the school. She is a member of the Curriculum, Standards & Pupil Welfare committee. She is also the English Governor. Her term of office ends on 17th November 2019.
Mrs Sue Parkinson – Associate Member

Mrs Julia Holland – Clerk to the Governors
Julia has been the clerk to the governors since July 2016. She has worked for Royal and Sun Alliance, Toshiba UK Limited and Cadence Design Systems UK Limited in her past careers.
Mrs Kate Harding – Clerk to the Governors
Kate had been a clerk to the governors since December 2013. She has worked as a secondary school maths teacher as well as working in IT writing and testing bespoke software. Both her children are former pupils of the College Town schools.
